Hi, I'm Auralynn Rosario!
I’m a New York City–born daughter of Dominican immigrants with a non-linear path into film, programs, and analytics. As a first-gen college graduate and a parent of 24-year-old twins and a toddler, I’ve learned how to juggle competing priorities, adapt quickly, and build structure when things are moving fast.

At the center of my work is storytelling. I earned my BA in English from Smith College and my MFA in Film Production from City College of New York, and those experiences shaped how I see the world: every project has a narrative, an audience, and a purpose. I have been honored with the Helen Gurley Brown Magic Grant, the BAFTA Jeff Hunter Charitable Trust Scholar Award, the NYWIFT New Wave Scholarship, and a Bronx Documentary Center Fellowship.

I have led programs at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, where I managed 200+ events and used attendance trends, YouTube views, and 1,000+ feedback forms to help guide what we built next. Before that, I supported documentary work at Aubin Pictures, doing everything from calendar management and e-communications to monthly expense reports and shoot logistics, earning Production Assistant credits on multiple festival-screened films. Earlier on, I worked in marketing and outreach at Women Make Movies, connecting films with the people and conversations they were made for.

Now I’m building deeper analytics skills through, working with SQL, Python, Excel, and Tableau to turn data into clear, visual stories people can actually use.
Outside of work, you can usually find me baking, brainstorming, or chasing my daughter around the living room.
